93d Bomb Squadron 307th Bomb Wing "Long Rangers" Heritage Patch
The Long Rangers emblem originated with the 307th Bomb Group. Originally 13th Air Force, the 307th BG consisted of the 370th, 371st, 372nd and 424th Squadron. The Group was known as the "Long Rangers" due to the length of their Pacific Theater sorties - including missions over Truk, Palau, Philippines, Borneo, Yap, and others. Current leadership in the 307th Bomb Wing is enthusiastically drawing on the rich bomber heritage that cannot be given too much attention. This morale patch is a direct nod to heritage and is currently being worn by members of the Wing.
